"Dapo, what's taking so long?" Temi asked from the living room but Dapo didn't hear Temi call for him. She decided then to get up and look for him and that was when she heard his voice, "where are you? yes, she's here. Hurry" Temi immediately got confused as she realized that wasn't the 'fix you a drink' she had been promised. She quietly walked back to the living room and began wondering who he was asking over. "This is supposed to be private, i want to do it and be done before my parents are home" she thought to herself. "Anyway," she thought "I'll just ask him what's up"
"Hey you, so sorry i took so long. Couldn't seem to find the juice anywhere, I had to go look all the way in the store" said Dapo. "He is lying" Temi thought again, "but why?" "Well are we going to do this thing or not. You know we barely have time before church is over, what's the problem? I love you and i am ready for this. Aren't you?" asked Temi. "Oh no, i want this too. I just don't want to rush you" said Dapo. "Well you can't seem to stop looking outside that window you're standing by instead of sitting beside me and kissing me, are you expecting someone?" Temi asked while looking into her glass and pretending she was drinking her juice. Dapo hesitated for a second and then said, "no, not at all." He left the window he was standing by and sat beside her on the couch facing the TV, he put his hands around her waist and drew her in closer. "Okay, i am ready let's do this" He slowly began to kiss her when he heard his cousin's car honk. Then, he sprang up from the couch almost immediately and said, "good, he's here finally. We are running out of time" Temi looked up at him with confusion in her eyes and worry across her face and asked, "who's here finally? were we waiting for this person?"
"Look Temi, I am sorry i lied earlier about waiting for someone but the truth is that i was waiting on my cousin before we started because plans have kind of changed and i didn't want to scare you into leaving if i explained before he got here" said Dapo. Temi got even more confused and worried and said, "you just got me very scared right now, please what is going on? This was meant to be private, we are in love and its our first time together." Dapo looked away at those last words, "ermmm, look Temi. I am sorry but i lied, you will not be my first because i have had a first and a few more firsts, maybe seconds, thirds too" he babbled on. "Look, its just that my cousin has been showing me a lot of things and experiences." At that moment; Stephen the cousin, walked in. "What took you so long? Anyway good that you're finally here darling" Dapo said as he walked across the room and past Temi and kissed Stephen on the mouth. Temi's mouth fell wide open and she never thought she had the strength to muster the only word that seemed to come out of her mouth finally, they were "WHAT?"
