General Conditions

MeetNigerians.net (MN)/ Nigeriandateline.com ("the Site") is an online meeting place and a relationship website for adults and essentially you must be at least 18 years old to use this service

The following conditions constitute all the terms and conditions (the "Terms") of the agreement ("the Agreement") and shall (subject as follows) override and exclude any other terms or conditions stipulated or incorporated or referred to by you or MN. You acknowledge that there are no representations outside these conditions, which have induced you to enter into the Agreement, and these Terms shall constitute the entire understanding between you and MN for the supply of services under the Agreement.

By registering with MN you become a member of the service ("Member") and agree to be bound by these Terms and conditions. As a Member, these Terms represent the agreement between you and MN. By using this Site, you declare that you are of sound of mind and that your actions are not a result of the material you view on this site whether it has originated from the staff/contributors of this site, you, or any other user of this site.

Although the best efforts are made to maintain this Site, MN is not responsible for the results of any defects that may be found to exist, or consequential damages that may result from such defects. You should not assume that MN is error-free or that it will be suitable for the particular purpose that you have in mind.

MN does not guarantee the accuracy of any Member information and does not conduct any investigation whatsoever into any Member's medical, professional, criminal, or financial history or other characteristics. MN makes no representation, warranty or guaranty to you about any of these matters or about the quality, quantity, demographic, characteristics, financial conditions or other information provided by members or about the truth of such information.

It is your responsibility to determine whether to interact with other members, and you voluntarily take all risks associated with such interaction and your membership. You agree to exercise care and caution when meeting other members, whether in person or on-line.

You may not use MN, or its services to publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, obscene, or other unlawful material or information, including another's proprietary information, including trademarks or copyrighted information, without express authorization from the rights holder. Additionally, you may not use the Site to collect or harvest personal information, including Internet addresses and email addresses. You may not advertise or promote your own company/business or any other company's products or services through the Site.

Code of conduct

As a Member you agree:

• MN and its staff are not responsible for the actions of other users towards you, other members, or anyone else. Every Member is responsible for their own actions while using the Site or actions resulting from the use of this Site. MN and its staffs are not responsible for any physical or virtual contact you, other members, or anyone else engages in as a result of the Site.
• Not to post on the Site, transmit or communicate to anyone, any obscene, racist, intimidatory, defamatory, harassing, profane, illegal or offensive sexually-oriented material, any material containing offensive sexual references, or offensive sexually suggestive language, or any material that violates or infringes another party's rights (including, but not limited to, rights of privacy and publicity, and intellectual property rights)
• to be solely and entirely responsible for any information or content you post on the Site,
• to treat each other with respect and courtesy.
• not to prevent other members from using the Site.
• not to send or transmit any chain letters, spam or circular (junk) email to other members.
• not to post any private or personal contact details on the public domain or on pages available for public viewing
• Not to damage, disrupt, modify or interfere with the Service or its associated software, hardware and servers in any way.
• to be responsible for maintaning your password and any acitivty carried out under your name.
  
• that MN reserves the right at its sole discretion, to reject any personal information, text, pages or photographs contradicting these Terms.

Liability and Limitations of Liability

You acknowledge that MN shall not be held liable for any damage or loss suffered by you as a consequence of your use of the Services.

You acknowledge that MN has no obligation to provide you with any potential matches and has no obligation to ensure any preferences, compatibility or actions between you and any potential matches.

Although MN may provide links to external sites (for reasons of information or convenience to members) you agree that MN is not liable or responsible in any way for such external sites, resources, content, advertising or other materials communicated on such sites. If you decide to access linked external Web sites, you do so at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MN, its employees, agents, directors and any third parties (such as those linked to the Site), against all actions, claims, proceedings, costs and damages (including all legal costs or other expenses) that may arise out of any breach of this Contract by you and/or any other damage or loss whatsoever caused directly or indirectly by your use of the Service.

You also agree that this extends to covering any infringement or breach by you of the terms of this Agreement

Copyrights

With exception of personal information like your email address, you grant an irrevocable, perpetual license to MN to use, reproduce any such content you posted on the Site in its original form or in a modified state.

MN reserves the right to terminate with immediate effect the privileges of any user who uses this Site to unlawfully transmit copyrighted material.

Termination

MN reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership of the Site and access to the Service with immediate effect once you have been served a prior notice after you have been found to infringe this Terms of Service. MN makes no guarantee that prior notice will be given prior to termination of your membership especially if you have free membership status for any infrigements of this Terms of Service.

You can terminate your membersship at any time of your choice by login on to the Site and click to > My Profile > Close Account and then follow through the instructions. Once termination has been effected you cannot return to reclaim the unused part of your membership or transfer to a third party if your membership did not expire.

Pricing and Payment

Changes in pricing for the Service may be communicated by means including posting on the Site or via email. All fees advertised in naira are for the benefits of members based in Nigeria. Nigeria based pay option only apply to members who resides in Nigeria or in the neighbouring countries and must be paid by the member. Members who do not meet this criteria must not choose this option as it will result in immediate termination of gold membership status as soon as it comes to our attention.

Payment shall not be deemed to have been made until MN has cleared funds in respect of the full amount outstanding if payment is effected by other means not including credit/debit card methods.

Once payment has been made, generally refunds will not be given. Refunds will be given at the discretion of the MN management. Cancellation and/or termination of this Agreement by you or us will not entitle you to refund of monies paid regardless of circumstances and reason.

Jurisdiction

You agree that this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the English Law and that you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales in relation to any dispute or matter arising out of or connected with this Agreement.
